Brain Train
The Vanderbilt Center for Science Outreach (CSO) is dedicated to enhancing scientific and technological literacy through the establishment of unique partnerships between University scientists, K-12 educators and students, and the local and global community.

The Brain Train is an interactive website inspired by the Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s quarterly Lens publication which provides a rich, insightful understanding of the cutting-edge research and the scientific community behind that research.

The major thrust of the Brain Train is to communicate aspects of autism in an engaging fashion with a clear relationship to current Vanderbilt scientists and their research. It blends content, interviews and interactives to provide a window to the complex world of autism spectrum disorders. It is NOT intended to be a comprehensive resource. The Brain Train was developed by the Vanderbilt CSO in conjunction with Vanderbilt News and Public Affairs, the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center, and the Vanderbilt Brain Institute.

Financial support for the Brain Train project was provided in full by the Dana Foundation. To see other people who contributed to this project click here.

The artwork is original and was provided by then high school senior and CSO intern Nguyen.

The website in its entirety was designed by Digital Dog Incorporated.
